values & beliefs
We ring the bell. Almost every week at our weekend services, we have an opportunity for people to stand and confess Jesus as their Lord for the first time. Because of this focus on people who are not yet Christians, we are passionate about creating a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of where they are in their faith journey.
We are an "Ugly" Church
By ugly we mean human, flawed, and imperfect. At the Vineyard, we say, “No perfect people allowed.” We intentionally create a non-religious environment in order to invite people in to experience the beautiful truth that God loves messed-up people, just like us.

We are People of His Presence
We welcome God's interaction in our lives and in our services through the presence of the Holy Spirit. We don't believe in just going through the religious motions; we want to experience the living God in all we do.

We Celebrate Diversity
All diversity—ethnically, generationally, and between women and men. We love being a big family of many languages, cultures, and generations that God delights in.

We Like to Have Fun
We believe that where there is joy, Jesus is near. As we learn not to take ourselves too seriously and to celebrate all that God is and does, we laugh a lot!

Meet our senior pastors
Kim & Jamie Stilson
Kim and Jamie have been in the ministry for over 48 years. They spent their first 17 years in ministry leading a church on Sanibel Island, then planted the Cape Vineyard Church out of that church in the mid 1990's.
As Pastors, they've led Cape Vineyard for decades, equipping the church "for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up" (Ephesians 4:12).
Jamie and Kim have three daughters and 12 grandchildren. When they’re not setting the course for the Cape Vineyard, you’ll probably find them in North Georgia, sitting by a waterfall, or writing in the highlands of Scotland.

PASTORS & STAFF
Get to know our team.

Jasen Williams
Executive Pastor
Pastor Jasen came to Jesus at Cape Vineyard during High School. If he’s not at a ball field with his kids, he’s probably reading a book or checking fantasy football.

Charles Minton
Associate Pastor
Charles has been in the Vineyard family since he was fourteen. He spends his time outside of church with his wife and kids, and enjoys staking out in the bushes to capture the perfect wildlife photo.

Kelly D'Auria
Worship Pastor
Kelly was born and raised in SWFL and in the Vineyard. She serves as the Worship Pastor. When she's not at church, Kelly is at the beach, out fishing with her boys, or squeezing in a little shopping whenever she can.

Jaime Boye
Children's Pastor
Jaime has called the Cape Vineyard home since 2005, when her daughter was invited to VBS. She's a Jersey-born latchkey kid who loves spending Sundays with her amazing husband, and their five awesome kids and the most precious four grandkids.

Terry Mincy
Youth Pastor
Terry gave his heart to Jesus here twenty years ago and now gets to serve as youth pastor. He's a local firefighter who loves his family but hates cake.

Rick Jackson
Prayer Pastor
Rick began at Cape Vineyard at age 10, later became the first youth pastor, was called away, but has been back since 2012. He loves being a “Poppi”, RV-ing with Chelsea, dad jokes, and Pickleball.

Natasha Mincy
Youth Ministry Leader
Natasha was raised up in the Vineyard and wouldn't want it any other way. She's blessed to serve on the worship team and in Youth alongside her husband. When she's not here, she's in Montana visiting her grandbaby, Luka!

Chelsea Jackson
Prayer Ministry Leader
Chelsea has worshipped at Cape Vineyard for 14 years, but has been part of the Vineyard family since ‘94. She loves time with her 4 adult kids, being a “Nanni”, and traveling with Rick.

Cari Williams
Event Coordinator & Bookkeeper
Cari has been at Cape Vineyard since she was young, and she met her husband, Pastor Jasen, here as a teen. She likes coffee more than water, and she loves thrifting.

Richee Boye
Chef / Production Manager
Richee first walked into Cape Vineyard in 2015, where he reconnected with his beautiful future wife. He's a diehard Steelers and Mets fan who loves them almost as much as he loves Sunday dinners with his family.

Roxie Plainte
Business Administrator
Since age seven, Roxie has called Cape Vineyard home. She spends her free time running, boating, and chasing her three dogs, and her favorite color is cow print.

Dave Chalfant
Building Maintenance
Dave has called Cape Vineyard home since 2000. He spends his free time with his family, and especially loves hanging out with his granddaughter, Harper.

Cal Lajoie
Media Specialist
From the Army to the Vineyard, Cal has centered his life on Cape Vineyard worship and tech. He makes dance music and shows it to people on the weekends.

Danielle Mendoza
Ministry Development
Danielle and her family moved to Cape Coral in 2021, and immediately called Vineyard home. She loves acrylic painting and bakes hundreds of cookies every Christmas.

BUSTER
Adventure Land Mascot
Buster the bear has been bringing smiles to kids at Cape Vineyard since he was just a cub. When he's off-duty, Buster hibernates exclusively in a giant hammock.
