As someone who's visited Cape Vineyard, ere are some of the ways our church impacts others in our community and beyond.
FOOD TRUCK OUTREACH
Our Sweeter Than Honey food truck was born out of the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. And we've used our truck to live up to the meaning of the name Ian: God is gracious! From Cape Coral Hospital to Cape Elementary to students & small groups, we served over 7,000 people from our food truck in 2025 and never charged a dime...all thanks to the support of our congregation.
weekly dinner church
Every week, we serve our community at our Thursday night Dinner Church. We feed bodies and souls by providing a hot meal, a short church service, and free groceries for those in need. In 2025 alone, we served over 8,200 hot meals and gave out over 1,900 bags of groceries, including 350 at Thanksgiving! We wouldn't be able to offer restaurant-quality meals and the "Welcome Home" experience without the support of our church family.
community event outreach
Whether it's Bike Night or Halloween, we're always ready with a hot dog and a message of "God Loves You"! We give out thousands of fresh grilled hot dogs and bottles of water in our community throughout the year, and even our Kids' Ministry mascot Buster gets in on the fun. No matter what celebration brings out the hot dogs, our goal is to bring out the love of God and pray for those in need of His Spirit.
LOCAL SCHOOL partnershipS
We partner with our local elementary schools, Cape Elementary & Caloosa Elementary, to help spread the love of Jesus through service and blessing. We host Cape Elementary's Breakfast with Santa every year, providing a delicious pancake breakfast, and this year we handed out hundreds of candies & surprise bags at their Trunk-or-Treat event. We also take our food truck out to the schools to bless families with ice cream during Open House, and celebrate Teacher Appreciation with hot meals for teachers & staff. These partnerships are made possible because of our congregation's support and allow us to invite families to come to know Jesus.
nova student ministry
Youth are an important part of our church life here at Cape Vineyard. We believe that middle and high school students aren't just the future of the church—they are a vital part of who we are today, bringing unique energy, leadership, and a fresh perspective to our community. Whether it's students bringing their friends to NOVA Wednesday night youth group, parents connecting at NOVA Parent Night, or our student leaders being discipled at Project Timothy, those who serve and give help us offer amazing opportunities for teens to get to know Jesus.
children's ministry
Families are the heart of our community, and we believe in investing in our children as future members and leaders inside and outside of our church. Volunteer support and community giving allow our Children's Ministry to offer a safe & fun environment for kids to connect with the Holy Spirit and learn about the Bible. Whether it's regular Sundays, Family Adventure Nights, Family Park Days, or Holidays & Special Events, our families know they have a place to make new memories and connect with a community of believers.
BAPTISMs
Everything we do at church that leads up to baptisms. It marks a significant spiritual milestone in a person's journey, representing the washing away of the old life and the beginning of a new, transformed life within our church community.
Our giving goes beyond our local community in support of Convoy of Hope, Compassion International, and the Vineyard church in Bujumbura, Burundi.
"Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality."
Romans 12:13 NIV
Ways To get involved
Serve with Your Time
The "V" in Vineyard stands for Volunteer! Serving as part of the body of Christ is all about jumping in and using your unique gifts to help our church family & community thrive. Everything we do—from brewing coffee to tech support—points back to "ringing the bell" and helping more people find their way to Jesus.
Give Online or In Person
Easily make a one-time gift or set up recurring giving through our online giving portal here, at our Giving Center in church, or in our app. Or simply place cash or check in a giving envelope, and drop it in one of the boxes on the back wall or baskets our ushers hold on your way out of the service.
