Thursday Dinner Church
Grocery registration at 4:30 // Dinner at 5:30 // Service at 6:00
Every Thursday night we prepare a free hot meal, groceries, and a short service for anyone in need.
The community outreach portion of the night begins as soon as our doors open, at 4:30. You can register to take home a free bag of groceries once a month. They include items such as fresh produce, dry goods, snacks and frozen meat (as available). A Lee County Photo ID is required to receive groceries.
You'll also be able to take free bread with you every week regardless of whether you register for groceries or not, and just might snag some additional desserts too! We often have extras, so stay late to grab more goodies.
If you are just coming for dinner, our servers bring around donuts, cakes, other snacks, and drinks to your table as soon as you're seated. That's right! We do dessert first at the Vineyard. At 5:30, the team prays and then delivers the main course which our chef or cooks prepare—always hot and fresh, never cold or frozen.
At 6:00 we have a short worship service. Our band plays a couple of worship songs before one of our pastors delivers a message. At 6pm the service is dismissed and registered guests are free to pick up their monthly grocery bag.
If you are interested in serving in our community outreach, we'd love to have you! Sign up to serve here.
